Sharing the stories of local artists with the global community.

In December 2012, I discovered my passion for helping creative folks share their stories with others after interviewing a local musical duo in Nashville. This inspired me to begin working as a freelance journalist, helping people share their stories and passions.

In January 2018, I launched a new online publication focused on sharing the stories of creators of all sorts – musicians, painters, dancers, writers, photographers, and even chefs – with a larger audience. In order to truly make this a success, I need to focus on building my brand and earning the trust of the artists we’ll be interviewing, and the readers who will be supporting us.

I am starting MC as a publication on Medium, throwing myself into exploring the art/music/food scene in Middle Tennessee as frequently as possible, and will be publishing bi-monthly articles here.

I will be doing this between working a part-time office job, as well as driving for Uber & Lyft. I have already invested in the domain name and hired the fabulous Maria Ninfa, an artist on Fiverr, to create the fantastic logo pictured above. For anyone who would like to donate and help cover these costs; potentially help me free up some time to focus on making Meridian Creators successful; and eventually pay other journalists and an editor, you can donate directly through Paypal, or subscribe with a monthly donation at Patreon!

Follow Meridian Creators on Medium and Facebook, and follow me on Facebook and Twitter and check this page often for more information on fundraising and launch as it becomes available.
