“Stormy, Scalding, Heart-Wrung Tears” –Jane Eyre

At 7am on Sunday, December 7th, I finished Jane Eyre, after having become riveted to the emotions in the words written by Charlotte Brontë. (Upon reflection, maybe it wasn’t the best choice to try and read myself to sleep with this book at midnight, as I wound up with no sleep.)

Teaser Tuesday (Dec 2)

Jane Eyre

My Teasers:
Did I dream still? The old woman’s voice had changed: her accent, her gesture, and all were familiar tome as my own face in a glass–as the speech of my own tongue…

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading.

To participate, you:
* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS!
(Make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Please leave a link to your teasers in my comments! I’d love to read them! Thanks.
